KCR Appoints Petra Stachon as Head of Central Clinical Operations Services

Petra Stachon is Head of CCOS at KCR being in charge of project management, vendor management, patient recruitment and retention services, as well as site contracting.

Berlin – 24 August 2016 – International clinical research organization (CRO), KCR, has appointed Petra Stachon as new head of its Central Clinical Operations Services’ (CCOS) team. In her new role Mrs. Stachon will be responsible for managing all aspects of clinical operations at KCR including project management, vendor management, patient recruitment and retention services, as well as site contracting. She will be located at the company’s head office in Berlin.

Mrs. Stachon brings to KCR over 20 years of experience across various areas in clinical operations in the pharma and CRO industry. Mrs. Stachon joins KCR from PAREXEL, where she most recently held the position of Senior Director Clinical Operations and was accountable for a global team of professionals located in Europe, Asia and the Americas.

In her previous role Mrs. Stachon was responsible for assuring that operations were aligned to meet partnership needs. She focused on an adequate and efficient resource approach to partnerships, oversaw continuous improvement efforts and provided the senior level with oversight for critical partner programs.

Over the course of her career Mrs. Stachon has gained extensive knowledge in study start-up, risk-based monitoring, process design and team management. She also has in-depth expertise in project management.
