Patient Recruitment and Retention Strategies

KCR cooperates with a network of outpatient clinics with access to a computer database of 1 000 000 potential patients. Our investigators are able to select patients according to demographic profile, morbidity and other criteria.

KCR’s experience in clinical research in the European market enables us to reach enrollment goals in a cost-effective and timely manner. We have established relationships with our sites and we know how to support them so that they meet enrollment and quality objectives within a given timeline.

KCR recognizes patient retention as the key challenge in the majority of clinical studies. KCR overcomes this  problem with effective retention programs that maintain study enthusiasm, while strengthening site and patient relationships to maximize study participation. We design and develop individual innovative strategies for each client and protocol. This approach allows for rapid and successful outcomes in all therapeutic areas.

We begin each study with a feasibility assessment that allows us to begin to develop individual strategy of patients’ recruitment in cooperation with both: the sponsor and investigators. Based on our experience and knowledge of the market, we always prepare an alternative strategy for our customer, and we advise the best option depending on the particular case. We have gained significant experience in terms of supporting recruitment, as we monitor and advise these processes on an ongoing basis. We are able to assess capabilities and limitations of each site and tailor choose sites according to the requirements of our clients. 

We are aware of the importance of the patients’ retention in clinical studies, especially when working on long term studies. We are prepared to deliver appropriate individualized training and educational programs for investigational teams. We know how to enhance enthusiasm and how to support relationships between investigators and patients.
