Boston, 6 November 2017 – Joette Keen, KCR’s Head of Biometrics and Clinical Trial Execution Systems (BMX), will retire from the role at the end of this year. Mrs. Keen joined KCR in April 2015 to lead the Data Management (DM) and statistic services team and oversee KCR’s electronic documentation management system.
“I have greatly enjoyed my time at KCR. After spending years in pharma, working for a CRO was an interesting challenge to use my knowledge and experience to further evolve and shape the way we work in the clinical trial industry,” said Joette Keen.
Based in Dallas, Texas, US, Mrs. Keen brought to KCR more than 30 years of extensive experience in clinical data management, DM systems, as well as international operations management. At KCR she concentrated on developing the portfolio of BMX services, also as a stand-alone delivery option.
“My years at KCR would not be so successful and productive if it would not be for my engaged and committed team,” added Mrs. Keen. “I focused on creating an environment where people could be courageous and empowered. We all have really been committed to delivery on timeline demands, while keeping the highest standards, when it comes to the quality of data. I feel fully satisfied and fulfilled about my career; therefore, the retirement decision was a natural consequence. Now it is time to spend more time with my family and give more attention to my interests e.g. volunteering to help improve lives of others.”
Mike Jagielski, President & CEO of KCR, said: “I am very proud that Joette choose KCR to be the last professional stage in her career. It has been a fantastic journey and I am looking forward to having Joette appointed as the first honoree Leadership and DM team member at KCR.” He added: “By the end of this year we will commence the process to find the next head of the BMX department, to be responsible for the future leadership and services development.”
